A learning and reward system for the recorder

Starting on just one note, this original suite of six pieces for easy recorder uses only the notes G,A,B,C & D. Each piece can be used by itself or as a cohesive six-movement suite.
ImagesProvide something of a challenge for students that were ahead of the rest of the class.  The whole suite starts simply and become progressively more challenging with each movement,  but remains simple enough for intermediate players to enjoy.  It uses the white notes from D to D with an accidental F#.

It's avalible in version for Recorder Trio, Duet and Solo (with Piano)

The Cat's out of the BAG

An original suite of five movements for players who have the basic skills and want more of a challenge. It uses the notes BAG for the most part, introducing C and D in natural manner later on.

Each movement can be used as a stand-alone piece of music or as a full cohesive suite. It is quite possible for the class to create a story around this music.

The Knight

An original suite of five movements for intermediate recorder using the notes from D to D

Each movement can be used as a stand-alone piece of music or as a piece that works as a cohesive unit. It is very  possible to create a story around this music.

Candy Land
An original suite of six short movementswritten with the intention of providing interesting and challenging music for the advanced beginner. It encompasses the notes G, A, B, C, C# and D and therefore can be played with one hand. Even in this limited range, however, there are some wonderful melodies, interesting and novel harmonies plus good counting and rhythmic learning opportunities.

Each piece can be used as a stand-alone work or played as a complete work. It is very possible to create an imaginative story around this music.
